Abstract: PDF file, 86K, Effect modification of the association between the ratio of parent estrogens to estrogen metabolites and multivariable adjusted* percent density by BMI and years since menopause. Adjusted percent density measures are untransformed residuals from linear models that account for variation in percent density in association with age, BMI, combination hormone therapy, and parity / age at first birth (nulliparous, first birth at age <21 y, 22-29 y, and 30+ y). The line represents a fitted linear model of the association between multivariable adjusted percent density and log-transformed measures of the ratio of parent estrogens to estrogen metabolites.
