Abstract: A) Representative images of HSC-3 cell migration at 24 hours after cells were cultured to confluence, scratched, and treated with vehicle, 10 μM B(a)P, 1 μM PYO, particulate matter 2.5 um (PM2.5), 10 μM B(a)P and 1 μM PYO, or 10 μM B(a)P and PM2.5. Data are representative of 3 independent experiments. Vertical black lines indicate the borders of the original scratch at zero hours. B) SCC2 cells were treated as in "A" and percent exposed area was quantified. Data from 3 experiments were normalized to results obtained with naïve cells and presented as mean percent exposed area + standard error.
