Abstract: Given the manuscript's complexity, the numerous TEI editorial decisions, and the rigorous documentation of our processes, the team found project management-hierarchy, roles, timelines, and deadlines-to be a challenge.As we developed our project management approach, we found that we needed more flexibility than current models allowed for in their design.We began to experience our project life cycle as one that was nonlinear, and we needed a management approach purposefully designed to treat continuous change as an interdependent project phase.As such, we identified a project management model that is informed by an iterative, cyclic approach to project stages and collaborative decision-making so as to address the complexities
