Abstract: Monitoring agricultural crops with the help of unmanned aerial vehicles has been becoming increasingly popular in recent years. Drones, also known as unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), can capture high-resolution images and video of agricultural crops, allowing farmers to collect important data on plant health, growth patterns and potential problems. This technology can help farmers to identify areas of their fields that require special attention, for example areas requiring additional irrigation, fertiliser or pest control. Drones can also detect early signs of crop diseases, which can be crucial for preventing the spread of a disease to other parts of the field. In addition, drones can also help farmers to increase yields by providing data on the condition and growth of crops, which can be used to make decisions on crop management practices. This may include adjusting planting density, irrigation schedules and fertiliser application rates. Monitoring agricultural crops with unmanned technologies can revolutionise the way farmers manage their fields. By providing data and analysis in real time, drones can help farmers to make more informed decisions that will ultimately lead to higher yields and more efficient use of resources.
