Optimum Switching Scenario Analysis in a Dynamic Entanglement Network

Abstract: We investigate the performance of a dynamical entanglement-based QKD network with various switching scenarios. The simulation results suggest the optimum scenario for different heralding efficiencies and detectors’ jitter and the experimental results verify the benefit.
