Abstract: Matlab code and data for the paper "Missing levels in intermediate spectra" Arxiv:2306.01821. It can be used for fitting spectra to a two-parameter formula that specify the fraction of observed levels f and the original Brody parameter for measuring the chaoticity. It can also be used for checking the formula and finding its accuracy for the Beta-Hermite ensemble. Instructions in how-to.txt. Besides basic Matlab it needs Statistics and Machine Learning tools, Symbolic Math toolbox, Parallel Computing toolbox and Optimization toolbox. It also needs tridieg that can be downloaded from http://persson.berkeley.edu/mltrid/index.html. Depending on your system you will need to have trideig.mexa64, trideig.mexw32 or trideig.mexw64 in the same folder as your matlab code.
