Abstract: This article finds an answer to the question "Why is English needed?", gives several effective methods by which parents and teachers can interest children in learning the language, presents the reasons why pupils should be drawn to English precisely from the primary grades, and, on the basis of the research carried out on child psychology, shows the results of various games and exercises.
