Abstract: The results of CheckMate-238 led to the original FDA approval of anti-PD-1 therapy in high-risk, resectable melanoma. In this CCR Translations, we discuss the 5-year update of this pivotal trial and contextualize its results in the face of limited survival data, neoadjuvant therapy, next-generation biomarkers, and novel immunotherapy combinations.
