Abstract: Se presenta una aproximación a la producción y poética no realista del dramaturgo mexicano Martín Zapata (1963). El artículo se centra en la obra que va de 1979 a 2016, correspondiente a sus dos primeras épocas (iniciación y exploración), bajo dos constantes: lo especular (metadrama) y la estética fantástico-gótica. Martín Zapata: A Gothic Playwright Among Us Abstract This article discusses the poetic and non-realistic dramatic production of Mexican playwright Martín Zapata (1963). It focuses on the study of plays written from 1979 to 2016, which belong to his first two periods (initiation and exploration).
