Abstract: Статья посвящена иконографии образов, сопровождающих одну из основополагающих категорий буддизма — бодхичитту. Приводятся изображения и тексты из Китайской Трипитаки, трактатов «Пу-ти-синь лунь» (или «Бодхичитта шастра», Амогхаваджра), «Требования к медитации наставника Шань У-вэя» («У-вэй саньцзан чань яо»), «Коллекция иллюстраций эзотерического буддизма школы Сингон» («Сингон-миккё-зу-ин-сю»), «Махавайрочана-калпа» (Сурьяясаса/Ниссё), комментарии И-сина, сведения из других источников. Перевод статьи Локеша Чандры из «Словаря буддийской иконографии» выполнен С.М. Белокуровой. The article is devoted to the iconography and symbolism of the images accompanying one of the fundamental categories of Buddhism — bodhichitta. The article presents images and texts from the Chinese Tripitaka, treatises Pu-ti-sin lun (or Bodhichitta Shastra, Amoghavajra), Requirements for Meditation by Master Shan-Wu-wei (Wu-wei san-tsang ch’an-yao), Shingon Esoteric Buddhism Illustration Collection, Mahavairocana-kalpa (by Suryayasas/Nissho), I-hsing’s commentary, and data from other sources. Translation of an article by Lokesh Chandra from the Dictionary of Buddhist Iconography by S.M. Belokurova.
