Abstract: This work presents an innovative approach to improving the weight and quality indicators of the silk fibres obtained from the silkworm. We propose a lightweight and remotely controlled portable silkworm rearing system that surpasses traditional methods of silk production. By introducing special sensors into the greenhouse, the system makes it possible to monitor the carbon dioxide (CO2) level remotely. In the course of our research we carried out a comparative analysis of silk fibre yield between a portable silkworm farm equipped with a mechatronic system and other traditional worm farms. The findings support the effectiveness of the mobile farm for the worms, emphasizing the importance of mechatronic components, including sensors, relays, ventilation systems and motors.
