Abstract: This paper deals with the subject of synergy between disciplines within the framework ofinterdisciplinary studies. It focuses mainly on the relationship of linguistically-oriented discourse analysisto non-linguistic disciplines or linguistic models that are open to the rest of the human, social, natural andpure sciences. It draws up model of Corpus linguistics as a contemporary branch of applied linguistics, inrelation, specifically, to the critical discourse analysis approach, and as an introduction for the of discoursestudy based on computer science, mathematics and linguistics. Therefore, the objective of the study is toclarify this synergy between the two disciplines, to clarify its identity and its most prominent terms, and tohighlight some of its aspects and models.
