Abstract: A challenge in cardiac monitoring for children with heart disease lies in the reliance on traditional clinical measurement technology techniques that necessitate visits to the hospital, either on an outpatient or inpatient basis. This approach often involves periodic monitoring of vital signs, such as heart rate (HR), in a controlled medical environment. However, the need for frequent hospital-based cardiac monitoring can have a significant impact on the physical activity levels and overall quality of life of children.
