Abstract: Praise be to The Lord of the Universe, prayer and peace be upon the holiest prophet and messenger, Mohammad, his kin and his companions all together.Next; As the Holy Prophet's Sunnah has the great position in the Islamic legislation, it is highlighted and mentioned in the Holy Quran where Allah the Almighty said:" So take what the Messenger assigns to you and deny yourselves that which he withholds from you" and as it is one part of revelation Allah the Almighty said:"Nor does he say (aught) of (his own) Desire.It is no less than inspiration sent down to him.", it is obviously, distinguished with provisions not stated in the Holy Quran of which the traditions (Hadiths) that tell about an Imam who will appear at the end of time to govern the earth who is said to be known as Al Mahdi.However, some writers who claim to be Muslims question these traditions (Hadiths) and get doubted about them.They mention suspicions over these (hadiths).That is why, I need to participate in serving the Holy Sunnah of Allah's Messenger, to defend it and to refute the arguments of these disbelievers by quoting Muslim scholars in this regard and collecting the scattered texts written on this subject by conducting a small size research paper.This effort will be made by collecting the correct (Hadiths) on the Mahdi and the statements of disbelievers in these (Hadiths) and arguing them.I followed the Analytical Inductive Method of research.It is titled as:( Holy traditions(Hadiths) on The Mahdi, suspicions and counterarguments).It consists of an introduction, two chapters and conclusion.The introduction deals with the importance of the subject, may plan and my method.The first chapter: titled as Hadiths on Mahdi in terms of narration and understanding where I mentioned the stable explicit and non-explicit hadiths on the Mahdi, the characteristics of Mahdi and his signs through what has been mentioned in Hadiths and the authority of such hadiths on Mahdi and the opinion of the Sunnah people in these hadiths.The second chapter is titled as: Suspicions over Hadiths told about the Mahdi.I mentioned in this chapter the suspicions which based on explicit denial and the ones which show implied denial of these hadiths as well as refuting them.Then, I wrote a conclusion and indexes.I pray for Allah to accept this work and make it for the sake of Him.May Allah bestow His prayer and peace upon our Prophet Mohammed, his kin and his companions all together.
