Abstract: This document outlines the acceptance criteria and workflow for notification, screening, acceptance and logistics of donor lung collection between Duke University Medical Center and our local Organ Procurement Organizations. Donor Lungs accepted for the SCENT protocol arrive to our Surgery Substrate Services Core packaged on ice, en bloc and are processed and banked by a Duke Histologist.
