Abstract: In recent years, double perovskite has become a research hotspot of luminescent matrix materials due to its flexible structure, easy doping and good thermal stability. Bi3+ and Eu3+ co-doped Y2-x-yBixEuyMgTiO6 (0≤x≤0.1, 0≤y≤0.5) phosphors were synthesized by high temperature solid-state method. X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis shows that the crystal structure of all samples is monoclinic system, P21/n; Bi3+ and Eu3+ were incorporated into the Y2MgTiO6 system and replaced the Y3+ sites. The relationship between the doping concentration of Bi3+ and Eu3+ and the luminescence intensity was studied by photoluminescence spectroscopy (PL) and X-ray excitation luminescence spectroscopy (XEL). PL shows that: When the excitation wavelength is 375 nm, the color tunable emission from blue to red can be achieved by adjusting the doping concentration of Eu3+ in Y1.995-yBi0.005EuyMgTiO6 phosphor; The introduction of an appropriate amount of Bi3+ will enhance the characteristic emission of Eu3+; The energy transfer behavior of Bi3+→Eu3+ in the system can be observed by combining the fluorescence lifetime and photoluminescence (PL). Fitting by concentration quenching model shows that the energy transfer mechanism of Bi3+→Eu3+ is resonant dipole-dipole transition; The phosphor can be effectively excited by X-ray, and the spectral distribution of XEL and PL is basically the same; The introduction of an appropriate amount of Bi3+ is also beneficial to improving the sensitivity of XEL; The emission intensity of the sample is sensitive to temperature changes; In addition, the samples have long-term stability under continuous X-ray irradiation at different ambient temperatures. The above results indicate that the phosphor has potential application value in the field of lighting, X-ray imaging and temperature sensor.
