Amiodarone prevents wave front-tail interactions in patients with heart failure: an in silico study

Abstract: This work presents a new model of the action potential of the human, which reproduces the complex dynamics during premature stimulation in heart failure patients with and without amiodarone. A specific mechanism of the ability of amiodarone to prevent reentrant arrhythmias is presented.
