Abstract: The concept and conception of human rights have been different in different cultures and at the same time these have been changing with the passage of time throughout the history in different cultures. There have been multiple factors and forces that caused visualization and internationalization of human rights. The article emphasizes the significance of human rights as universal, inalienable, and indivisible nature along with their gradual evolution. The religion has played also well-defined role for recognition and protection of human rights, although some are of the opinion that religion sometimes doesn’t come up with current international human rights standards.
