Type: conference-abstract
Abstract: To construct reference charts for nasal bone length in an Indian population at 11–16 weeks gestation. This retrospective cross-sectional study was carried out at a single centre on over 1000 patients at 11–16 weeks of gestation who were followed up in the protocol including a dating scan between 6 and 8 weeks, NT scan, anomalies scan between 18–22 weeks and uneventful neonatal course. Multifetal pregnancies and all cases with malformations or abnormal karyotype were excluded. Raw centiles and were computed for CRL and data was compared with published data from several countries. The fetal nasal bones were measured by Voluson E8 ultrasound machine transabdominally. Charts for nasal bone length in an Indian population are reported.
