Abstract: The paper aims to analyse Jaroslav Rosendorfský’s bilingual Italian-Czech / Czech-Italian dictionary. After briefly presenting the Czech-Italian lexicographic contacts, we analyse the macroand microstructure of this lexicographic work, highlighting the characteristics that, as of the 60 years leading to the beginning of the 21st century, made it the most popular bilingual Italian-Czech and Czech-Italian dictionary.
