Abstract: This paper presents an overview of Internet-Mediated research as a methodological approach to study toleration.The paper presents a description of different types of Internet data and data collection methods used in Internet studies; a description of the different methods that can be used to extract data from online resources; and a presentation of web content analysis.The paper also proposes a new way to capture and measure toleration in a specific society using web content analysis, and discusses the basic procedures researchers shall proceed in to conduct web content analysis on social media websites.
