BMP signaling inhibition overcomes chemoresistance of prostate cancer.

Year: 2023
Type: article
Abstract: . In addition, we showed that DMH1 disrupted the sphere formation in DU145-TxR and PC3-TxR cells, and suppressed the expression of marker genes of the cancer stem cells (CSCs). In conclusion, our study demonstrates that BMP signaling is associated with prostate cancer chemoresistance and BMP signaling inhibition effectively overcomes the cancer chemoresistance potentially through the disruption of CSCs' stemness.
