Abstract: This paper contains a working model for brain viscoelasticity based on a biphasic model that includes the distribution of fluid channels.Key equations describing the complex stiffness (Young's modulus) as a function of frequency are found in equations ( 10), ( 12), and (32).In these equations, the leading term has a typographical omission and is missing the power (32) This correction with the power law exponent is important since this leading term then resembles a "dashpot" that is well known in tissue rheology especially in the Kelvin-Voigt fractional derivative model.
