Advances in materials informatics for tailoring thermal radiation: A perspective review
Year: 2023
Type: article
Abstract: Materials informatics has emerged as a powerful tool for the discovery, design, and optimization of materials with tailored thermal radiative properties. This perspective review highlights the recent advances in optimization algorithms, including Bayesian optimization, deep learning, and quantum computing, and their applications in various fields such as thermophotovoltaics, radiative cooling, gas sensors, and directional emitters. We also discuss the challenges and future directions of this rapidly evolving field.
