PENGARUH PEMBERIAN PUPUK ORGANIK CAIR (POC) KULIT PISANG KEPOK TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN DAN PRODUKSI JAGUNG PULUT (Zea mays ceratina Kulesh)

Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect and the dose of liquid organic fertilizer from the banana peel of kepok on the growth and production of maize. This research was carried out in Tanganapada Village, Murhum District, Baubau City, from January to April 2022. The research design used was a randomized block design (RBD) with a dose of liquid organic fertilizer on banana peels consisting of 5 levels, namely control (P0), a dose of 40 mL L-1 water (P1), a dose of 80 mL L-1 water (P2), a dose of 120 mL L-1 water (P3), and a dose of 160 mL L-1 water (P4). Each treatment was repeated 3 times so that 15 experimental units were obtained, with each experimental unit contained 5 polybags so that in total there were 75 polybags. The results showed that a better dose of effect on plant growth on the variables of plant height, number of leaves, and leaf area was obtained at a dose of 160 mL L-1 water and on plant production on the variables of cob length, dry seed weight per plant, and plant production was obtained at a dose 120 mL L-1 water
