PENGARUH APLIKASI PUPUK BOKASHI TERHADAP PRODUKSI TANAMAN JAGUNG (Zea mays L.) PADA LAHAN KERING

Abstract: This study aims to knowing the effect of bokashi on corn plants productions and determine corn productivity (Zea mays L.) at dry land. This research was carried in Lakalamba Village, Sawerigadi District, West Muna Regency and the Agrotechnology Laboratory, Faculty of Agriculture, Halu Oleo University, from July to November 2021. This study used a Randomized Block Design (RBD) consist of 5 treatment levels, B0: No fertilizer; B1: 5 t ha-1 (6 kg per plot); B2: 10 t ha-1 (12 kg per plot); B3: 15 t ha-1 (18 kg per plot); B4: 20 t ha-1 (24 kg per plot). Each treatment was repeated 3 times to obtain 15 experimental units. Each treatment was repeated 3 times to obtain 15 experimental units. Variables was observed included yield components, namely cob weight per plant, length of ear, diameter of ear, number of rows per ear, weight of seed per ear, weight of 100 seeds and yields of cob weight per plot, weight of seed per plot and productivity. The results showed that there was an effect of bokashi fertilizer on maize yields, namely cob weight per plant, cob length, cob diameter, seed weight per plant, seed weight per plot, cob weight per plot and productivity. The 5 t ha-1 treatment was the optimal and efficient dose of bokashi fertilizer and significantly increased the nutrient contribution to dry land and supported maize yields with productivity reaching 3,75-4,40 t ha-1
