Abstract: In this note, we present an innovative approach called "homologous hypothesis tests" that focuses on cross-sectional comparisons of average tumor volumes at different time-points. By leveraging the correlation structure between time-points, our method enables highly efficient per time-point comparisons, providing inferences that are highly efficient as compared to those obtained from a standard two-sample t test. The key advantage of this approach lies in its user-friendliness and accessibility, as it can be easily employed by the broader scientific community through standard statistical software packages.
