Abstract: Air pollution reaches hazardous levels in the Kyrgyz Republic’s capital, Bishkek, during wintertime. This causes large adverse health and economic impacts. This Brief summarizes the consensus around air pollution and its causes in Bishkek and proposes interventions to resolve this issue.
