Abstract: المستخلص هدف هذا البحث إلى الكشف عن واقع دور الإشراف التربوى لتطوير الأداء المهنى لدى معلمى مدارس المرحلة الثانوية فى سلطنة عمان، ووضع توصيات لتفعيل ذلك الدور، استخدمت الباحثة "المنهج الوصفى"، واعتمدت على "استبانة" كأداة للبحث ميدانيا تم تطبيقها على عينة من مجتمع البحث بلغت (468) معلماً ومعلمة بمدارس المرحلة الثانوية الحكومية والخاصة بمحافظتى مسقط وظفار العمانيتين، أظهرت نتائج البحث أن دور الإشراف التربوى فى الزيارات الإشرافية لتطوير الأداء المهنى للمعلمين حصل على نسبة موافقة مرتفع بمتوسط حسابى بلغ (2,67) وإنحراف معيارى بلغ (0,37)، كما أن دور الإشراف التربوى فى تطوير الأداء المهنى للمعلمين حصل على نسبة موافقة مرتفع بمتوسط حسابى بلغ (2,36) وانحراف معيارى بلغ (0,37)، وتوصل البحث الحالى إلى وضع عدة توصيات لتفعيل دور الإشراف التربوى لتطوير الأداء المهنى لدى معلمى مدارس المرحلة الثانوية فى سلطنة عمان، كان من أهمها رفع مستوى صلاحيات المشرف التربوى وإعداد برامج تدريبية للمشرفين التربويين على كيفية تطوير الأداء المهنى للمعلمين. الكلمات المفتاحية : الإشراف التربوى – الأداء المهنى Abstract The aim of this research is to reveal the reality of the role of educational supervision to develop the professional performance of secondary school teachers in the Sultanate of Oman, and to make recommendations to activate that role. The arithmetic mean reached (2.67) and standard deviation amounted to (0.37), and the role of educational supervision in developing the professional performance of teachers obtained a high approval rate with a mean of (2.36) and standard deviation amounted to (0.37), and the current research reached a number of recommendations to activate the role of educational supervision to develop the professional performance of secondary school teachers in the Sultanate of Oman, the most important of which was raising the level of powers of the educational supervisers and preparing training programs for them on how to develop the professional performance of teachers.
