Abstract: This research aims to collect and study Imam al-Nawawi's observations in his book "Khulasat al-Ahkam fi Mohimmāt Al-Sunan Wa Qāwā'id Al-Islam" on Imam al-Tirmidhi.The researcher used the inductive، analytical and critical method.The number of the tracked issues reached twenty، and it became clear through research and after study that Imam Al-Nawawi was right in ten of them، that is، in half the number of these issues.The great Imam -the author of The Great Compilation (Al-Jami' Al-Kabeer)، one of the six famous books of hadith، Imam Al-Tirmidhi was right in the other half.Through the research، the researcher reached results including: The primary motive for scholars following up on each other is to revise their writings، purify them and protect them from delusions and errors، and this is a great service to science and its people.It also shows the extent of the prowess of Imams Al-Tirmidhi and Al-Nawawi -may God have mercy on them -and their extensive knowledge of narrators and narrations، as well as the methods and evidence of hadith.Through research، it became clear that there are few hadiths in which Imam al-Nawawi's follow-up to Imam al-Tirmidhi is directed.The research revealed the great importance of examining the observations and evidence in order to make a correct judgment on the hadith.
