Abstract: Boron Nitride In article 2300704, Ivan Vlassiouk and co-workers introduce a novel large-scale boron nitride synthesis for applications where cost, production volume, and process safety are essential. The image highlights the scalable BN synthesis on steels and metal films, resulting in large single-crystal hBN for emerging 2D electronic devices and attractive protective coatings properties: anticorrosion, high-temperature oxidation prevention, and low coefficient of friction.
