Abstract: The audio-visual text carries with it, like other texts, the culture of the source language, no matter how neutral the text is; the text is often without words, phrases, concepts and terms belonging to the culture of the language in which it was produced, which creates a difficulty for the translator to transfer the contents of the source text to the target language in all honesty and impartiality without compromising the cultural background of the source text and the target text.The idea of this study depends on the study and analysis of issues of transferring cultural contents through audio visual translation from the Swahili language into Arabic language.Therefore, to highlight the linguistics obstacles to the translation of the documentary films' dialogue with a cultural dimension.
