Abstract: The attention deficit disorder with or without hyperactivity (ADHD) of fers a great cli nical variability. Therefore, after a correct diagnosis and evaluation many dif ferent thera peutic options can be considered, and reconsidered along its evolution, including precise information to families, up to complex intervention in multidisciplinary surroundings. Pharmacologic treatment is a very valid choice, alone or combined with other proce dures, and it must be well known by the Primary Care paediatrician that prescribes or ca rries out monitoring.
