Abstract: ملخص البحث:قام هذا البحث على قراءاة قصة ( محنة ... ومنحة) للدكتور إبراهيم عوضين ، قراءة تحليلية نقدية ، وهي العمل الوحيد للكاتب في ميدان الإبداع القصصي ، وقد ألفها وهو دون العشرين عاما (سنة 1370هـ/ 1950م) وهي قصة اجتماعية إسلامية ، مستمدة من واقع الحياة المصرية الحديثة ، أقامها الكاتب على طائفة من الشخصيات والأحداث والمعاني والقيم ؛ معتمدا في ذلك على مساره الأسلوبي الذي تنوع فيه بين السرد ، الحوار، الوصف ، الصورة المشهدية ، الخطاب التقريري ، ... ومجسدا بذلك تلك الثنائية المتقابلة الخالدة ، بين الخير والشر، والفضيلة والرزيلة ... من كل ما كشف عن مقدرة إبداعية خلاقة Abstract:This research was based on reading the story (Plight...and Grant) by Dr. Ibrahim Awadin, an analytical and critical reading. It is the writer’s only work in the field of narrative creativity. He wrote it when he was under twenty years old (in the year 1370 AH/1950 AD). It is an Islamic social story, drawn from the reality of Modern Egyptian life was based on a range of characters, events, meanings and values.Relying in this on his stylistic path in which he varied between narration, dialogue, description, scenic image, and declarative speech... and thus embodying that eternal, opposing duality, between good and evil, virtue and vice... from everything that revealed his creative ability.
