Abstract: With Allah's Help and Assistance, in this research, I have addressed a group of narrators whose books were burnt, along with the impact of this incident on their narrations.I have extracted such narrators from the traditional sources of Jarh and Tadeel (Criticism and Praise of narrators), and the books of biographies and classes; I have collected about thirty of them for each of which I have mentioned the narrator's name, father's name, grandfather's name, lineage, three of teachers, and three of students if available. Then, I have reported the opinions of Jarh and Tadeel scholars about each narrator, with references to the titles of the books and compilers of those opinions. If the narrator is one of those narrators included in the six major Hadith books, I would mention the opinion of Al-Hafiz Ad-Dhahabiy in (Al-Kashshaf) and Al-Hafiz ibn Hajar in (At-Taqreeb).Last but least, I would encapsulate the final opinion about the narrator, depending on Ad-Dhahabiy's and Ibn Hajar's opinions if concurred with the opinion of the majority of scholars.Otherwise, I would practice my personal reasoning to give an opinion about the narrator based on the principles set by Jarh and Tadeel scholars. Finally, I would mention "Those who stated that the narrator's books were burnt", reporting the opinions of scholars in this regard, with light shed on the impact of this incident on the narrator's narrations in terms of preservation and accuracy.
