Abstract: The prognosis of advanced mantle cell lymphoma (MCL) is poor [ 1 ]. Analyses of genomic and epi-genomic landscapes indicate a critical role for the DNA methylome and its interplay with other genomic complexities including copy number alterations (CNAs) and breakage–fusion-bridge cycles [ 2 , 3 ]. Unlike genomic mutations, the epigenome of cancer cells can be modified by therapeutic intervention [ 4 ].
