Erratum: “Drinking Water–Associated PFAS and Fluoroethers and Lipid Outcomes in the GenX Exposure Study”

Abstract: This article used data from the GenX Exposure Study reported in Kotlarz et al. 2020. 1 Authors identified an error in the concentration estimates for PFO5DoA that resulted in a substantial underestimate of PFO5DoA concentrations in serum as reported in the Kotlarz et al. 2020 article, 2 and thus affected all relevant data in this article as well.Those values have now been corrected in a separate publication.3 Because we used quartiles for the exposure analysis, the majority of the findings and conclusions in this article are unchanged, although the significant association between PFO5DoA and cholesterol is no longer present in the corrected article.The following corrections were made to the manuscript.
