Abstract: Nowadays, education is constantly evolving, thanks to the emergence of new artificial intelligence technologies, and the implementation of intelligent systems to help learners in their learning process. Large Language Models (LLMs) such as ChatGPT are among the AI solutions used to capitalize knowledge from tutors and transfer it to learners. Its main characteristic is to interact effectively with human queries using Natural Language Processing (NLP) tools, which allows it to understand human intent and generate responses. Our work aims to identify, collect and synthesize many research works that have dealt with the use of LLMS in the field of education. Then, we make a comparative study to highlight the advantages and disadvantages that have resulted from these works to have new research ideas for our future work in this field.
