Abstract: Organs-on-Chips In article number 2304630, Kambez H. Benam and co-workers present the design, optimization, and validation of a robust and highly reproducible methodology for constructing centimeters-long cross-sectionally rounded, extracellular matrix (ECM)-embedded, multicellular microvasculature (MV) in an Organ-on-a-Chip device – a platform named “ECM MV-Chip”. This living system allows culture of primary human-derived, organ-specific vascular endothelial cells and stromal cells, and fine control of ECM mechanical properties and composition.
