Palavras-chave: Agustina Bessa-Luís; Autoria feminina; Performance; A Sibila.Abstract: This article intends to discuss how Agustina Bessa-Luís, in her novel A Sibila, takes a look at urgent contemporary issues, such as the condition of oppression to which many subjects, men and women, are subjected, at the same time that she performs, in the plot, a performative one, reiterating and producing the transcendent and cyclic force of the two Sibyls: Quinta and Germana.
