P864: Employees’ views and healthcare utilization following employer-sponsored pharmacogenomic testing at a large US healthcare system
Year: 2024
Type: article
Study design: Observational Study
Abstract: While preemptive pharmacogenomic testing (PGx) has typically been constrained to specialized healthcare programs and consumer testing, voluntary workplace wellness programs that offer genetic testing (wGT) are expanding these opportunities. However, it is unknown whether and how employees respond to results from PGx testing in this setting. This study evaluated self-reported PGx testing outcomes, including healthcare utilization, among employees receiving PGx test results through their employer’s wGT program.
