Data from: Higher offspring mortality with short interbirth intervals in free-ranging rhesus macaques
Year: 2019
Type: dataset
Abstract: The data sets are based on the free-ranging rhesus macaques of Cayo Santiago. 1) pibi_consecutive11 columns: A = whether an index offspring died within first 3 months postpartum, B = Category of preceding-IBI length (1-5), C = Length of preceding-IBI in days, D = offspring sex (F/M), E = date of birth centered to the peak birth data of a given birth season, F = mother's age in years, G = mothers age in years, squared, H = whether the older sibling of an index offspring survived first 3 months postpartum, I = mother's social rank (0 = high,1 = middle, 2 = low, NA = unknown), J = maternal ID, K = birth season ID. 2) sibi_consecutive11 columns: A = whether an index offspring died within the 10 months of next sibling's birth, B = Category of succeeding-IBI length (1-5), C = Length of succeeding-IBI in days, D = offspring sex (F/M), E = date of birth centered to the peak birth data of a given birth season, F = mother's age in years, G = mothers age in years, squared, H = whether the younger sibling of an index offspring survived first 3 months postpartum, I = mother's social rank (0 = high,1 = middle, 2 = low, NA = unknown), J = maternal ID, K = birth season ID. 3) pibi_pooled9 columns: A = whether an index offspring died within first 3 months postpartum, B = whether an inter-birth interval results from birth skipping (missing at least one breeding year) or not, C = offspring sex (F/M), D = mother's age in years, E = mothers age in years, squared, F = whether the older sibling of an index offspring survived first 3 months postpartum, G = date of birth centered to the peak birth data of a given birth season, H = maternal ID, I = birth season ID. 4) sibi-pooled9 columns: A = whether an index offspring died within the 10 months of next sibling's birth,, B = whether an inter-birth interval results from birth skipping (missing at least one breeding year) or not, C = offspring sex (F/M), D = mother's age in years, E = mothers age in years, squared, F = whether the younger sibling of an index offspring survived first 3 months postpartum, G = date of birth centered to the peak birth data of a given birth season, H = maternal ID, I = birth season ID.
