Abstract: Awareness campaigns about addictive behavior that take place at school are most often based on presenting the risks associated with the consumption of psychotropic drugs. These risks are presented as different for boys and girls. By empirically showing the underlying practical logics and social regularities, this article aims to contribute to analyzing the definition struggle of the conforming and deviant behaviors associated with the masculine and the feminine. It shows in particular that the control of masculine behavior is a product and a stake in the struggles between gender groups and between social classes.
