Abstract: We study uniqueness of best approximation in Orlicz spaces $L^{\Phi},$ for different types of not necessarily strictly convex functions $\Phi$ and for some finite dimensional approximation classes of functions, where Tchebycheff spaces, and more general approximation ones, are involved.
