Social characteristics of employees in the context of generational theory and age periodization

Abstract: The article examines the main characteristics of the theory of generations in the context of labor relations and employee values, identifies the specifics of approaches in the theory of generations by different authors, both foreign (W. Strauss, N. Howe, etc.) and Russian scientists (Yu.A. Levada, V.V. Radaeva, etc.). The ratio of age and generational characteristics of personality is analyzed in relation to labor relations. The potential and possibilities of the theory of generations are considered taking into account the existing limitations and shortcomings of the explanatory model.
