Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma Growing in the Pacemaker Pocket
Year: 2024
Type: article
Study design: Case Report
Abstract: An 88-year-old patient underwent pacemaker generator replacement. Shortly after the replacement, the pacemaker pocket became swollen and, assuming a hematoma, underwent percutaneous drainage. However, the swelling was due to an aggressive lymphoma located in the pocket. This is the first described case of T-cell lymphoma in a pacemaker pocket.
