Abstract: The text addresses the growing need for effective management in post-pandemic corporate environments, highlighting the importance of analyzing economic and financial indexes to monitor companies in crisis, such as a supermarket that suffered financial deterioration between 2017 and 2021. The research aims to demonstrate how these indicators can inform management decisions and assist in financial survival. The analysis includes a discussion of metrics such as economic profit, cash flow, and debt, as well as the relevance of creditor surveillance to prevent bankruptcy.
