Abstract: In bridge construction, welding automation technology has become an indispensable and important technical means for developing related industries. The paper mainly introduces the current status of welding automation technology in bridge steel structures, elaborates on its existing technology from the control of welding deformation, U-frame welding process, robot welding technology, etc., and gives full play to the positive role of advanced steel structure welding automation technology, and forms a good working mode and technical system. The difficulties in welding are analyzed, which plays a role in promoting the development of welding automation technology for bridge steel structures.
