Abstract: From the 20th century to the present, much research on Chilean Pentecostalism have documented the difficulty of obtaining a general overview of the movement's doctrine, which is aggravated when considering its great institutional dispersion. This article explores the movement from the history of doctrine research perspective, proposing a theoretical interpretation of the problems regarding the doctrine of the movement from its Methodist heritage to the contemporary situation of doctrinal diversity, specifically in its confessional dimension.
