Abstract: ICT can support the inclusion of students with down syndrome and mental retardation in mainstream school. The use of computers, tablets, internet by students with down syndrome and mild mental retardation during teaching activates learning functions in inclusion. Assistive technology serves to bridge the gap between typical students and students with down syndrome and mild mental retardation, helping them learn the material in a way they can understand, eliminating the difficulties that kept them from being on par with their peers.
